Designer Guide: Made in Canada
When we think made in Canada, too often our minds immediately go to things like maple syrup, hockey players, the genius that is the Canadian tuxedo, and the Wonderbra. Sorry Canada, that’s just what happens. We’re here to change those stereotypical thought patterns by introducing you to some of our favorite designers and labels that call Canada home. From handcrafted jewelry to high performance, technical apparel, all of these creatives keep things within the borders of the true north, strong and free.
They design, cut, sew, manufacture, produce, you name it, in Canada. Some even within the city they live in. All cheese aside, there is just something special about knowing where the pieces you buy come from. Not to mention, keeping things local is a great way to practice sustainability. So without further ado, we give you our made-in-Canada style gang.
