Dress like a Pisces
Welcome to our latest series, zodiac style with Stephanie Gailing! With the fish as its talisman, Pisces has us longing for the sea. And with that, we may find ourselves wanting to wear clothes that run the marine gamut: think nautical jackets, waterproof ware, and surf styles. We may even gravitate to hues that reflect oceanic and underwater seascapes in shades of azure blues, seafoam greens, or orangey-pink corals.
As the sign associated with clairvision and compassion, we may find ourselves pulling out all the stops to tap into—and dress like—the modern mystic within us. To that end, we’re drawn to indigo and violet, colors associated often with spirituality and psychic sensitivity.
Pisces season beckons the dreamer and romantic in all of us. We want to go with the flow, and therefore we may desire clothes that allow us to move fluidly. Boundless love and boundary issues characterize Pisces. The quality of ambiguity as to where something ends and another thing begins may manifest in the way we dress; for example, we may don pieces that overlap and weave together in illusion-inspiring ways. As Pisces is associated with transparency, fabrics that have gossamer, translucent, or see-through qualities are beautifully reflective of the Pisces' prismatic soul.
Finally, all eyes are on shoes…and more shoes! After all, Pisces is the sign that governs feet. So during Pisces season, when there’s a tendency to have one foot in the clouds and one foot on the ground, at least we can do so in stellar style.
