It’s no surprise that Earth Day always occurs during Taurus season. After all, this sign is known for its connection to and appreciation of nature—and there’s a cornucopia of ways to honor Gaia through your wardrobe. Clothing made from natural fibers and plant-based dyes is a natural choice. So are pieces made from recycled or upcycled materials and, of course, preloved vintage finds.
Taurus is known for a heightened appreciation of the sensual. The way a fabric feels on the skin, how it may glisten in the light, and how it moves will connect us to a dynamic experience of joy and delight. With luxury being a de facto inspiration during the season of the bull, we may find ourselves inspired to invest in a statement piece whose style transcends time and pays back a great return on its investment.
Scarves can play a significant sartorial role this season. Why? Well, not only are they a simple and practical way to pull an outfit together—and Taurus is the queen of practicality—but also because the neck is one of the regions of the body ruled by this sign.
When it comes to colors, turn to an earthy palette. Sage, copper, mahogany, and forest green are Taurean colors of choice, as are the yellows, pinks, and purples that remind us of the flowers in bloom during this time.
