Happy (Halloween) Hour
Just because Halloween isn’t exactly a thing this year doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate the witching hour with a cup full of potion. Cocktail aficionado and bartending wiz Andrew Larson shared his recipe for a truly spooky (and scary delicious) drink that keeps the spirit of the holiday alive.
The Witches Brew
2oz Pea Flower gin .5 oz Giffard Peache .25 oz Strega 4 dashes Scrappy’s Bergamot Bitters .75 oz Fresh lemon juice
Combine all ingredients into mixing tin. Add ice. Shake for 10 to 15 seconds. Double strain into a cinnamon-smoked bottle. Garnish with lemon twist.
