On Our Radar
Ready to have some fashion fun? Us too. And so are so many designers and buyers looking ahead to Spring/Summer 2026. We've paged through all the latest releases and added a few recurring trends to our radar. Discover what's next below.
Sock it to Me
To the dismay of many Millennials, the age of ankle socks has ended, and in its place arrives a new, much more fun era for footwear: the playful, punchy crew sock. (There's also room for knee- and thigh-high socks, should you prefer something taller.) These are more of an accessory than a practical piece, meant to be worn with all kinds of shoes—sneakers, sure, but also sandals, stilettos, ballet flats, loafers, you name it. Options run the gamut from sheer to metallic, striped, varsity, etc. etc.
Ring Stacks
Remember the arm party of the early 2010s, where everyone had carefully curated layers upon layers of bracelets? That level of stacking is still on trend, but we've moved to more of a ring shindig. Ring stacks work whether you're a minimalist or maximalist, either sticking to clean lines with mixed metals and widths or choosing sculptural mixed metals, textures, and colors.
Lace Case
Credit it to the boho revival or the press tour for Wuthering Heights—lace is in the limelight. Sea NY is leading the charge with their latest collection, incorporating lace into everything from jeans to blouses and bloomers.
Playful Purses
Perhaps the clearest indicators that we've moved on from quiet luxury are the shapes, colors, and styles of next season's handbags. A woven banana-shaped wristlet. Tassel accents. Beaded animal prints. Bring it all on.
Color Blocking
If you take anything away from this trend roundup, let it be that this year is for dressing with joy. In our often dark world, a splash of color (or a fun sock or a silly bag) shines a little light. Bold hues, pulled right from the rainbow, are on the rise. To keep color from overpowering everything (unless that's what you're going for), offset outfits with a neutral base, like a beige blazer over a grassy sweater or a white button-up with cherry-red trousers.
