What We’re Grateful For
Roztayger
What are you thankful for this year? I am thankful for my health and my family’s health. I am thankful that in these tough times I am still in business. My heart goes out to brick and mortar specialty shops that are having an even tougher time.
In what ways are you giving back and expressing gratitude to your community this year? I have been donating personally throughout the year to democratic causes. I hope to donate a portion of my gross receipts from the store during the holidays to Farm Sanctuary. It’s important to me to support animal causes. They are voiceless and innocent, beholden to humans, and far too often abused.

What are you thankful for this year? My eight-year-old son for keeping me living in the present moment.
In what ways are you giving back and expressing gratitude to your community this year? I give monetarily to causes I believe in, but the real gratitude comes from supporting the small businesses in my community—ordering takeout from the new restaurants that opened in the middle of this pandemic and shopping small boutiques and bookstores to ensure they survive and are there when we are able to stroll and linger inside again.

What are you thankful for this year? I'm most thankful for my family and our health. This has been a year like no other and the quarantine time has connected my family in ways that I never imagined. Yes, the kids still fight but they love harder on each other and we as a family are closer than ever. It's these silver linings that keep us hopeful and appreciative of the true wealth we have in family and health.
In what ways are you giving back and expressing gratitude to your community this year? Both personally and via Bash + Sass, I've been a part of many community auctions and benefits to raise awareness and funds for social justice issues and causes. I'm proud to use my brand as a vehicle to support initiatives that are dear to my values and to donate where wek, as a community, can positively impact change and awareness. I'm also trying to highlight BIPOC founded small businesses wherever I can and to push my audience to shop small and local.
